Brookport Park & Recreation Department Fundraiser
The Brookport Park & Recreation Department is holding a Fish Fry and BBQ plate fundraising dinner on Saturday, September 11th at the Harry Statham Gymnasium. Donations for the meal will be $10 per plate. This includes two sides, bread or cornbread, a dessert and soda or water.
Bronda McGrew Jones advised that there will be a raffle for a side of pork and vendors will be on hand for the event. They have vendor space available for just $10. The event begins at 4 PM on Saturday, September 11th at the Harry Statham Gymnasium. Dinner will be served until 8 PM and Vendors will be open until 9 PM. Funds will be used for the Brookport Park.

Village of Karnak Patriot Day Car Show to Take Place
The 4th Annual Village of Karnak Patriot Day Car Show will take place on Saturday, September 11 at the Memorial Park in the Village of Karnak. The entry fee will be $15 per vehicle. Registration will take place from 8 AM until Noon, judging begins at 11 AM and the awards ceremony will take place at 2 PM. Music will be provided by Hot Rod Nights and food will be available from Hoggy’s BBQ. For more information call 618-634-9311.

Golconda Shrimp Fest
The Golconda Shrimp Festival will take place on Saturday, September 18th, from 10 AM until 10 PM on Main Street (118 E. Main St., Golconda). Head on down for what National Geographic Traveler magazine recognized as the #1 food festival in Illinois! Come join the celebration for one fun-filled day of delicious food, music, crafts, live entertainment and much, much more!
This event is the main fundraiser for our community organization, Main Street Golconda, that works to promote and revive Golconda and the surrounding county.

Junque Jamboree Fall 2021
On Saturday, September 18th, from 8 AM until 3 PM the Vienna Town Square Mall presents Junque Jamboree on the Vienna Courthouse Square.
This is a vendor event with antiques, collectibles, primitives, crafts, home décor, clothing, jewelry, health & wellness, food, & more! Food Trucks & ATMs available the day of the event.
