WMOK Metropolis, IL – The second round of closures on the Irvin S Cobb Bridge will begin one week from today, April 28 and will continue until May 2. The closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and is place to continue Spring Inspection.
The inspection closure on the Brookport bridge coupled with the work on I-24 which will continue until 2027 makes the commute between Metropolis and Paducah difficult.
