Metropolis, IL – Law enforcement officials responded to a call from the loading dock of Harrah’s Casino on Saturday after security personnel discovered contraband in the possession of an individual.
A Metropolis sergeant, along with agents from the Illinois Gaming Board, arrived at the scene, where they were informed that the security team had located a substance that later field-tested positive for LSD.
The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Robert L. Fulkerson III from Marine, Illinois, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Following his arrest, Fulkerson was processed at the Metropolis Police Station and was released on a notice to appear in court.
The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
