WMOK Metropolis, IL – On January 1, Metropolis Officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Smallville Suites on E. 8th St. Upon their arrival, officials discovered that a victim had been attacked by 21-year-old Brandan G. Vance, a resident of Metropolis.
Vance was subsequently charged with battery and released on a notice to appear in court.
The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
