(WMOK) Vienna, IL – On Friday of last week, WMOK reported a Thursday armed robbery at the Vienna Family Dollar store.
The Vienna Police Department, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and Illinois State Police responded to an armed robbery at the Vienna Family Dollar on Thursday afternoon. Fortunately, no one was injured, despite the suspect being armed. The Vienna Police is currently reviewing security video footage from the Family Dollar Store and nearby locations.

The department has released photos of the suspect at this time. If you recognize this individual, please call the police department at 618 658 8264 or send a private message on facebook with any information you may have. Do not approach the suspect, as the department considers him to be armed and dangerous.

Vienna, Illinois – Late Friday, the Vienna Police Department released updated information regarding an armed robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar store.
Authorities are searching for a vehicle linked to the incident: a 2022 to 2024 Jeep Compass in Crystal Metallic Gray.
The police describe the vehicle as having distinct decals on the rear glass, one of which resembles the Kansas City Chiefs logo.
This Jeep was reportedly used during the commission of the robbery, prompting investigators to urge the public for any information regarding its ownership.
If anyone has information about the vehicle or its owner, they are encouraged to contact the Vienna Police Department at 618-658-8264. Additionally, tips can be submitted via private message on the department’s Facebook page.
To aid in the investigation, the Vienna Police Department has released photos of the vehicle captured by surveillance cameras at the Family Dollar location. Authorities are hopeful that the community can provide leads to help solve this case.
