(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – When Massac County Sheriff Chad Kaylor joined us recently for WMOK’s Coffee Break program he recalled his recollections of the May 2003 tornado in Massac County.
The May 6th tornado took place in the evening and was rated an F4 with wind speeds of up to 210 mph. The tornado was on the ground for 33 miles with maximum widths of 1000 yds.
