The Southern Illinois Electric Co-op is pleased to announce the Thomas H. More Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship Program. This program aims to recognize and support outstanding students from electric cooperative families who are entering college. Each year, a total of 17 scholarships worth $2,000 each are awarded to deserving students to help them cover their educational expenses.
If you are a student looking to further your education beyond high school graduation, this is a fantastic opportunity for you! We are currently accepting applications for the Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarships. Don’t miss out on the chance to receive $2,000 towards your college education. For those interested in pursuing a career in line work, we also offer the LaVern & Nola McEntire scholarship. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist students attending the lineworker’s school at Lincoln Land Community College. The application deadline for the LaVern & Nola McEntire scholarship is April 30th, 2024.
