Southern Seven Health Department Shawnna Rhine 3.23.23 WOW Van

WMOK spoke with Southern Seven Health Department Outreach Coordinator Shawnna Rhine for Coffee Break about the Wellness On Wheels Van. Shawnna advised WMOK that the WOW program is in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health, to help get out into the community where there might not be a close place to get basic health care. They rotate the WOW van throughout the local seven counties, every Wednesday they are at one or two different locations. They offer a wide variety of services including, FIT Kits, Medication Disposal Packets, COVID shots, well water test kits, etc. All these services are offered at the Southern Seven Health Departments at anytime.
