Back to School Bash to take place Sunday August 7th at the Metropolis City Pool
The Metropolis Police Department’s Annual Back to School Bash will take place on Sunday August 7th at the Metropolis City Pool from Noon – 5pm. There is no charge to enter the pool on Sunday.
Chief Harry Masse told WMOK that hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, popcorn and more will be served on Sunday and all are welcome to attend.
Chief Masse discusses in the audio clip below how the event began with the goal of having positive interaction with local children and has continued to grow with other organizations getting involved.
