WMOK recently spoke with Erin Garrett of the University of Illinois Extension Office about the Plant A Row, Watch Cope Grow Community Garden.
The Plant A Row, Watch Cope Grow Community Garden is one of several throughout the state of Illinois and is made possible through grants and funding.
It takes gardeners to make the community gardens such a success. Those gardeners come in the form of community volunteers.
Garrett told WMOK that they hope to have meetings in the coming months. Garrett said gardeners of all skill levels and even no previous gardening experience at all are invited to take part.
