Vienna Schools in Search of a Driver to Facilitate Transportation of Test Specimens

/ WMOK

WMOK heard from Vienna High School Principal, Joshua Stafford this week and he advised that the school system is in search of a driver that is willing to do a once-daily run, Monday through Friday – from Vienna to Springfield, with other stops along the way.

This route would take about 8 hours per day and the hiree will be an employee of the University of Illinois.

Mr. Stafford told WMOK that pay would start “somewhere around $25 per hour, give or take”.   Stafford said that no special driver’s license is needed and the vehicle is provided.

The position is open immediately and will likely last through at least December, if not longer.

The purpose of this position is to aid in transporting test specimens from the Southern Illinois region to a lab in Springfield in an effort to help schools and other institutions that are a part of the SHIELD Illinois program.

If you or someone you know has any interest please send an email to apply@viennahighschool.com and make the connection.
