Metropolis Police Department Arrest Blotter – Paducah Woman Charged for Driving Without a License and Insurance – 4.6.25

In a routine traffic stop on April 5, a Metropolis Officer apprehended Sherident J. Miller, 25, of Paducah, Kentucky, who was driving without a valid driver’s license. The officer recognized Miller from past encounters and knew she was unlicensed when he spotted her vehicle at the intersection of 7th and Butler.

Upon pulling her over, the officer discovered that Miller could not provide proof of insurance, leading to further charges. Miller was subsequently charged with operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license and for driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

Following the incident, she was released with a notice to appear in court.
