Dan Huffman of Kiwanis Speaks with WMOK on the Importance of Younger Generations in Local Service Clubs - 3.27.25

WMOK (Metropolis, IL) – Dan Huffman of the Metropolis Kiwanis club joined WMOK for Coffee Break last week to discuss the Scholarship Spaghetti Supper that took place on Saturday evening at Massac County Junior High.

During our visit, we discussed the importance of younger generations joining local service clubs.

Younger generations joining local service clubs is vital for community growth and continuity. These clubs provide opportunities for leadership development, civic engagement, and networking. Involving youth fosters a sense of responsibility and connection to their community, ensuring that traditions and values are passed down while addressing current local needs effectively.
