Garden Workday Postponed: New Date Set for Community Gardening Efforts

WMOK (Metropolis, IL) – The Plant a Row Watch COPE Grow Community Food Garden has announced the postponement of its upcoming garden workday due to the recent stretch of bitter cold weather. The event will now take place on March 3rd from 10 AM to Noon at the COPE Community Food Garden, located on East 5th Street in Metropolis.

Community members are encouraged to attend and lend a hand in preparing the garden for the upcoming growing season. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join the efforts and contribute to this important initiative.
