WMOK (Metropolis, IL) – On January 30, officers from the Metropolis Police Department responded to a call regarding a trespassing incident in the 500 block of E. 7th. The caller reported that 52-year-old Michael D. Anderson was found on the property despite being previously trespassed.
Upon arrival, officers located Anderson on the premises and subsequently charged him with Criminal Trespass to Property. Following the incident, he was released on a notice to appear in court.
The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
