WMOK – Metropolis, IL – In December, a Metropolis man was taken into custody after being observed walking in the downtown area. Sergeant from the Metropolis Police Department spotted Kyle B. Hurst, 38, near 5th Street close to Yasoda.
The sergeant was already aware that Hurst was wanted on outstanding warrants issued by Massac County. The warrants were related to charges, including burglary and theft.
Following the observation, Hurst was arrested without incident and transported to the Massac County Detention Center.
The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
