(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – Lori Miller joined us earlier this year to discuss the benefits of physical therapy during care transitions. Lori is a physical therapist at Massac Memorial Hospital and remarked on the fulfillment of her nearly 30-year career there.
Miller explained to WMOK that insurance companies often expedite patient discharges before individuals feel ready to return home. This program allows patients to regain their confidence and ease back into their normal routines.
