(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – The C.O.P.E. Food Pantry is excited to announce the distribution of its highly anticipated “Holiday Bags,” beginning December 2, 2024.
This initiative aims to provide families in need with essential items to celebrate the holiday season.
Each Holiday Bag will include a carefully curated selection of food items designed to enhance holiday meals.
Recipients can expect to find:
– 2 cans of green beans
– 2 cans of corn
– 1 can of pumpkin
– 1 can of cranberry sauce
– 1 can of sweet potatoes
– 1 box of stuffing mix
– 1 boxed cake mix
– 1 container of icing
In addition to these pantry staples, this year’s distribution will feature a special treat: ham, providing recipients with a festive meat option for their holiday gatherings.
