(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – Meteorologist Beau Dodson joined us in the WMOK studio earlier this week to discuss some extraordinary statistics for our current weather pattern in Massac County and other weather-related items.

We asked Dodson to respond to a recent listener request regarding the recent Earthquake in Massac County.

Dodson noted that because of our placement along the New Madrid fault and other large faults, it’s not uncommon for us to experience earthquakes in the region.
