The MCHS Girls Golf team put on an impressive performance at the Effingham IHSA 1A Sectional, finishing in 3rd place and securing a spot in the State Tournament. 

The State Tournament finals are scheduled to take place on October 18th and 19th at the Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur, IL. The team is looking forward to showcasing their talent and competing once again at this renowned event.

The MCHS Girls Golf team’s success is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and they are eager to make their mark at the upcoming State Tournament. Fans and supporters are encouraged to come out and show their support for the team as they strive for victory on the greens.

MCHS junior golfer Eli Brown has secured his spot in the 2A boys state tournament after an impressive round of 76 at the Anna-Jonesboro 2A Sectional, held at Union County CC.

The tournament will take place at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, IL on Friday, 10/18 and Saturday, 10/19.

Congratulations to Eli for this outstanding achievement and best of luck in the upcoming state tournament!
