(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – The Southern 7 Health Department and Head Start are teaming up to host the “Bundles of Joy” Diaper Drive, aiming to support local families with young children. This community-driven initiative seeks to collect diaper donations for infants and toddlers enrolled in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program and Head Start in the region.
Drop-Off Locations and Dates:
– Big John Grocery, 1200 E 5th St, Metropolis, IL
– September 24: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
– Southern 7 Public Health Clinics and Head Start sites (through September)
Needed:
– Diapers (newborn to size 6)
– Monetary donations
Why It Matters:
Babies and toddlers require 8-12 diaper changes daily. Your donations will help keep them dry, healthy, and happy.
