Farmers Market, Youth Fair and a Concert in Washington Park

(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – It will be no problem to find a fun and inexpensive day on Saturday in Metropolis.

The Metropolis and Massac County Farmers Market takes place on Saturday at Dorothy Miller Park on East Front Street in Metropolis from 7am until Noon.

The Market offers an Early Bird Drawing. Shop before 7:45am to pick up your ticket and enter – drawing is at 7:45am – Must be present to win – The Early Bird Drawing consists of an item from each vendor at the market – baked goods, plants and more.

When we last checked in on the market listing for Saturday we found; Sweet Corn, produce – including Missouri Watermelon, a variety of breads and sweets, apple butter and peanut brittle, fresh local raw wildflower Honey, tropical plants,  zucchini bread, cobblestone bread, zucchini relish, homemade soap, fresh veggies, eggs, blackberries, hand painted denim and blackberry jelly – among other items.

Saturday at 6:30 the City National Bank Good Vibes Concert Series continues with Tony Lougue at Washington Park in Metropolis.
