Superintendent Jason Hayes joined us on WMOK this morning regarding the upcoming school year. Key announcements and updates include:
– Online student registration for the 2025 school year is now live for returning students and parents. Access Online Registration Here
Important dates to note:
– August 1, 2024: Pre-K screening for eligible students – 3 years old on or before September 1, 2024, but not 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024. Held at MES from 8:00am. to 12:00pm.
– August 2, 2024: Kindergarten screening for eligible students – 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024). Held at MES from 8:00am – 2:00pm.
– August 12, 2024: Kindergarten Orientation at each elementary school. Information about the Kindergarten Program and elementary school will be shared with students and parents. Parents will also be able to visit the kindergarten classroom.
Registration and screening details:
– Online registration is encouraged to save time
– Screenings are required for Pre-K and Kindergarten students not screened in Spring 2024
– Parents must bring necessary documents to screening appointments
– Establish a screening appointment by calling Kristin Rousseau at (618) 524-9376 ext. 101
– Cafeteria account deposits can be made online after August 1, 2024, at myschoolbucks or during the first day of school.
