(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – Customers of the Fort Massac Water District in the vicinity of Round Knob, be advised that water samples are being sent to the laboratory for analysis today. The results are anticipated to be available on Tuesday, June 25, and will be promptly posted by the district.
The Boil Order currently in effect for this area is a precautionary measure, and initial testing has yielded satisfactory results. However, the final laboratory readings will be the determining factor in lifting the Boil Order.
