(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – The Metropolis Memorial Day service took place on Monday to honor fallen heroes.
The ceremony took place in beautiful weather. Lyle Leib emceed the event and guest speaker Harvey Baxter delivered a powerful address.
There was plentiful attendance from community members who came out to remember and appreciate the sacrifices of those who fell in service to our country
