(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – During our conversation with Metropolis Mayor Canada regarding updates on the Happy Hearts transition – we learned that the goal for completion is May.
Mayor Canada told WMOK that the project was expected to be completed by now – however, they have experienced a delay in stove hood installation.
Canada hopes that the transition will be quick regarding “downtime” for the Happy Hearts.
The new space for the Metropolis Happy Hearts – the former Sav-A-Lot on Pearl Street in Metropolis; to many of us – that’s the former IGA.
