Time is Ticking for the Mailing of Stockings with the Metropolis Public Library Holiday Stockings for Heroes Program

(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – When the Metropolis Public Library joined us for Coffee Break earlier in November they told us all about the Holiday Stockings for Heroes Program

WMOK followed up with the Metropolis Public Library on Wednesday morning and Director Baxter said they are stuffing today!  All are welcome to come to the library to help stuff the stockings and bring remaining donations. 

Director Baxter told WMOK they are in great need of black toboggans/sock caps and will be able to accept those through Monday.  The mailing of the stockings will take place next week.
