Metropolis Trunk or Treat Set for Saturday October 28

(WMOK) Metropolis, IL – The Metropolis Police Department extends a warm invitation to the community to join in the excitement of the annual Trunk or Treat event at Fort Massac State Park on Saturday, October 28.

The festivities will begin with a costume contest featuring participants from six different age groups, starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 PM.

From infants to preschoolers, kindergarteners, and children in grades 1 to 4, everyone has a chance to showcase their creativity and compete for fantastic prizes.

After the costume contest, trunk or treating will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering a delightful opportunity for children to collect treats and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

To secure a spot, participants can start setting up their displays around the museum area from noon onwards. Please note that spots will be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure your preferred location.
