Grab your dance partner or come alone, you won’t want to miss this fun evening of 1940’s festivities! So dress in your 40’s finery and get ready to swing!
September 16, 2023 at the Harry Statham Gymnasium, 308 Crocket Street, Brookport, IL.
Doors open at 6 pm and Swing and Foxtrot lessons are from 6:30 – 7:30 pm with Jeremiah Linson and Crystal Hodges.
Live music by Steve Shininger and the ShinSings Orchestra and dancing from 7:30 – 10:30 pm.
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Cash Bar will be available.
Tickets are $25 per person presale or $30 at the door. Reserve a table for 8 for $300 which includes 8 admission tickets. Order your tickets online here, in person at Creations The Florist or City National Bank – Branch Location.
This evening will be filled with music and dancing, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a contest for the best dressed gal and best dressed guy and of course, for the best dance duo! Whether you hit the floor, learn to dance or just watch, this is going to be an event you won’t want to miss!
Proceeds will go towards the John Marvin Steele Statue and World War II Memorial.
