Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse reminds folks to register their bicycles. With Spring here Masse advises that the time is now to register you bicycle.
Bicycle registration is completely free to those who register and is paid for using funds from the Metropolis Police Department’s SAFE Program.
To register your bicycle, take it to the police station at 1020 Broadway Street in Metropolis.
Masse also said to make sure to put up and secure your bikes and any tools you may be using outside as to avoid being a victim of a crime of opportunity.
