(WMOK – Metropolis IL) The Boil Order pertaining to customers in the Unity School area, Strawberry Road, Pell Road, Unionville Road and surrounding areas of Highway 45 has been lifted.
Ryan Travis of Fort Massac Water District advised that samples were delivered to the lab yesterday and have satisfactory results.
There are currently no Boil Orders in effect for any of our customers.
The Water District will be replacing about 1,000’ of water main underneath Seven Mile Creek near Unity School Road the week of April 10th. There will be a precautionary Boil Order in the same areas after the work is completed and is expected to last two days, but those days are unknown at this time.
