Joppa-Maple Grove Unit School District 38 Educators Rising teamed up with the Beta Club to host a canned food drive for Homeless Awareness Month in November.
Students at Maple Grove Elementary and Joppa Jr/Sr High Schools brought in nonperishable items throughout the month of November.
Mrs. Forthman’s 4th grade brought in a whopping 206 items, and Ms. Clark’s sophomore study hall brought in 75 items.
Both grades will enjoy a pizza party celebration next week!
