Massac and Johnson Counties Now at High Covid-19 Transmission Level

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reports that as of December 2, according to the CDC, two counties located in the Southern 7 county region are at High Transmission Level for COVID-19. According to Southern 7 Health Department (S7HD) Johnson and Massac Counties reported earlier today at High Level for disease transmission. IDPH is stressing safety reminders, such as getting tested for COVID-19 before attending holiday gatherings, staying home if sick, and being fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 and the flu.
