Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse Discusses Recent Car Break-ins with WMOK

Metropolis Police Chief Harry Masse joined WMOK for his regularly scheduled Coffee Break this week.

Chief Masse focused on holiday safety and neighborhood assistance in alerting the police to nefarious activity.

Of recent car break-ins in Hospital Edition in Metropolis – Chief Masse said that the actual break-in of a vehicle is unusual in Metropolis.  He explained that thefts from cars generally take place as a crime of opportunity due to unlocked doors and valuables in plain view.

The break-ins have taken place over the last couple of weeks in Metropolis.
