The American Legion Post and the Metropolis Public Library will celebrate Veterans Day, honoring all who have served, on Friday, November 11th. The Metropolis Public Library will serve breakfast from 9-10:45A.
The American Legion Ceremony will take place at 11A at the Veterans Memorial Park. Lunch will be served at the American Legion, 321 Market St., at 12P. All Veterans and family are welcome. The Guest Speaker will be Captain Dave Park U.S. Navy (Retired). The MC will be Lyle Lieb and the National Anthem will be sung by the American Heritage Girls and Trail Life Boys.
