Massac Unit School District #1 released the following statement via their Facebook: They have had parents ask about student meal prices due to recent changes made to the meal program by the Federal Government, which is rather confusing. To clarify, Massac Unit #1 is part of the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). This program provides free meals to all students regardless of household income. The recent changes will not impact our school district. School meals will continue to be free for all Massac Unit #1 students for the upcoming 2022/2023 school year. Thank you to all that have asked about this issue.
