One of the ongoing projects of the Metropolis Police Department in connecting with local youth is Pencil Distribution to Local Students.
The Metropolis Police Department collects pencils throughout the year for local students. The next distribution is expected to be in February.
Chief Harry Masse asks that folks consider dropping of pencils or monetary donations with which they can purchase pencils at the Metropolis Police Station at 1020 Broadway in Metropolis.
