Harry Statham Youth Basketball League – Harry Statham Gym in Brookport – Basketball and Cheerleading for Grades: Pre-K through 4th – 2021-22 Youth Basketball Season
The Harry Statham Youth Basketball League is returning for its second full season at the Harry Statham Gym (HSG) in Brookport. Their first season in 2019, was a huge success with around 250 participants. They were cut short last year, but plan to make it all the way through the season this time around. The league is named in honor of Coach Harry Statham, a Brookport High School graduate, and former NCAA college basketball coach with 1,122 career wins in his 52 seasons as a collegiate head coach.

NEW FOR THIS SEASON- The HSG now has basketball goals that hang down from the ceiling. This is a great improvement for the gym for our players and spectators. No more portable goals that have to be wheeled around the gym and get in the way.
What you need to know – Basic Information: Grades: Pre-K through 4th grade thecost is $30 per player/cheerleader and $20 for each additional child in same family)

Coaches Meeting: Monday, November 15, at 7 PM, at the Harry Statham Gym.
Practices/Games: Practices begin November 29. A game start date will be set after sign-ups are completed.

Saturday, October 30:9 AM to 2:30 PM – Metropolis Soccer Complex
Sunday, November 7: 2 PM to 4 PM – Harry Statham Gym in Brookport
